Kerry wasted no time going on the attack. His Candidate McCain vs Senator McCain bit was probably the most appropriate comparison I’ve seen so far and something people can latch onto.

Candidate McCain says he would now vote against the immigration bill that Sen. McCain wrote. Are you kidding? Talk about being for it before you’re against it.”

That was the line of the night: “Talk about being for it before you’re against it.”

Of course, ‘for it before I was against it’ about a veterans bill that had been bastardized from committee to floor vote was used to paint Kerry as a flip-flopper in 2004.
