Brokaw as Dracula?

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

I only wanted to drop this in because I thought Tom Brokaw looked somewhat ominous in his appearance on Morning Joe this morning.
All black against an ornate red and gold background. He just looked scary.

Jon Stewart Slams Palin Coverage Hypocrisy

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

On last night’s Daily Show, Jon Stewart lit up Karl Rove, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, Nancy Pfotenhauer (McCain Staffer), and Sarah Palin for their hypocrisy on views such as experience, teen pregnancy, and sexism.

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Over the weekend, we lost two great entertainers, Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac.
Hayes, a Memphian, was most famous for the ‘Theme from Shaft’ and his character ‘Chef’ on South Park. Most recently, he had a major role in critically acclaimed ‘Hustle & Flow’
Bernie Mac was a great comedian and his rant on ‘Kings of Comedy’ [...]

10 Second Editorial: Fox News RedEye

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

I was watching Elite XC’s Saturday Night Fights tonight and was flipping through channels when it was over. MSNBC was playing “Lockup Raw” of couse (Become a news station, MSNBC!). So I turned it over to Fox News “RedEye”, which brings me to my question:
Is anything more unwatchable than Fox News RedEye?

Sirius-XM deal clears

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Finally! I thought this would never happen. The wait has been ridiculous and a sad reminder of just how powerful the traditional media lobby still remains.
That being said, I’m so happy to get my SEC football back. Now I’ll have Howard Stern, Elvis, Sinatra, Willie Nelson, Led Zeppelin, and the SEC in one radio.
Congratulations, Sirius [...]
