After dodging the question of what would happen if al-Maliki asked US Troops to leave, John McCain FINALLY endorsed Barack Obama’s stance on the 16 month timetable. Of course, he had to add his favorite buzzword caveat ‘conditions on the ground’, but as in the case of Afghanistan, McCain is basically xeroxing Obama’s foreign policy.

Finally! I thought this would never happen. The wait has been ridiculous and a sad reminder of just how powerful the traditional media lobby still remains.

McCain Forgets Afghanistan

More gaffes from Tuesday’s Katie Couric interview of John McCain were found in the edited footage. McCain says of his pushback against withdrawal “a defeat in the first major conflict since 9/11 would have devastating effects”.
